Refreshingly Different
There’s tea. And then there’s Melvins.
Melvins began with a belief that everyday things could be made a little more extraordinary. Founded in 1994 by Flora Mutahi, the company first reimagined an everyday kitchen staple: free-flowing salt.
Then came Tangawizi, a ginger tea that helped change the way Kenya enjoyed its daily cup. That spirit of curiosity grew into a collection of flavoured teas, orthodox teas, green teas, and fruit and herbal infusions.
Our roots are Kenyan. Our inspiration is the simple pleasure of sharing something full of flavour, made with care, and refreshingly different.
